ABOUT

Edem’s research focuses on developing and testing a coating with heating for ice protection to mitigate icing accretion at the leading edge of an airfoil.  This requires the ability of generating a sufficient amount of ice at the leading edge of an aluminum airfoil, which is achieved by conducting onsite an ice adhesion test in an icing wind tunnel.
